Light are holding a coffee morning at the cafe at Norfolk Park every other Wednesday 9.30-11. Our trained volunteers will be on hand to chat to mums about how their feeling and share their experiences.

Light is holding a fundraising Clothes Swap Shop event at the Harley, 334 Glossop Road, Sheffield on Friday 9th December from 1-6pm. Tickets are £4.
Please donate your nearly new or old clothes (good condition) to the event and grab yourself a new inexpensive wardrobe at the same time.
Clothes can be dropped off before the event at the Harley, Dore Service Station in Dore Village, Angram Bank Childrens Centre at High Green, Chancet Wood Childrens Centre at Meadowhead and Hallam Childrens Centres, Hallam Primary School.
Please bag your clothes with your full name and contact number enclosed so we can allocate your tokens for the event. Your tokens will be ready for you to collect at the event. Between 5-6pm it will be possible to purchase any clothes that are still available after others have swapped.
Please come along and join us for a fun filled afternoon at the Harley.
Light will be piloting an innovative programme of support for new mothers in and around the Darnall area of Sheffield. Starting on 17th October, we will be offering a 9 week ‘Emotional Health and Wellbeing’ course at Darnall Children’s Centre which will include sessions on baby yoga, baby massage, sleep problems, mediation, cognitive behaviour therapy and anxiety.
This holistic programme of support is free and is open to any new mother finding motherhood challenging. If it is successful it will expand to other areas of the city.
