Maternal Mental Health Alliance has launched ‘everyone’s business’, calling for all women throughout the UK who experience perinatal mental health problems to receive the help they need.

1 in 10 women develop a mental illness during pregnancy or within the first year of giving birth, yet treatment is subject to a postcode lottery with potentially devastating effects.

SheffieldLight aims to increase awareness of how postnatal depression affects women and their families and to campaign for better services in Sheffield and so welcome the national campaign led by the Maternal Mental Health Alliance.

We would love to hear what you think.
